Roland Jc 120 Vst Free
I don`t know if anyone mentioned this amp, aside from waiting for good metal amp from version 3 ,and something in Vox AC30 ballpark this JC-120 amp has its legendary status for one of the best clean tones ever made from an amp. I hope Mike will take it into consideration someday. |

Ok so we all loved that clean chorus on guitars found lingering hugely in the 1980’s, we all wondered how and where!!, well this is how, welcome the Roland, great clean sound, and a true Gem from the 80’s era! 10 Profiles of various settings (sweetspots) Running its. I owned a JC-120 a couple years ago. It is a good amp. The chorus in that amp is what people really want. I wouldn't say it takes pedals well. Way too bright. |

I`ve been listening this amp for ages, cause one guy from my town played all his life on this amp. Clean tone is very specific. It sounds bright I agree, but somehow scream for 80thies and has its signature tone. Chorus and spring effect plays big part to it. It can fit well for slightly distorted 80thies tones, also when we could have possibliity to use various ir`s I think amp could be even more versatile then in real world, but original ir`s needs to be done in order to capture that clean tone. Even Metallica using that amp for their clean tones, in live and in studio for ages. |

I've never been asked to specifically use this amp in over forty years as a pro, OTOH, I'm all the time being asked for Fender, Marshall and Vox. I personally don't have an opinion about it, just no use for it. My own go-to amp for cleans is a '65 Twinreverb. With S-Gear, the Wayfarer is my standard, although I can dial-in good cleans with any of them. |

Well I know I cant replicate that clean that amp possess, its very lost in 80thies and its not multitask amp, that is for sure, but its unique. POD Farm had very nice emulation of Jazz Chorus amp which I know cant replicate, I sold my POD X3 Pro and kind a regretting doing that, not just cause of that amp, but few that I get used to, as well as great effect pedals etc. |

Really would love this. I have a JC-75 which I use all the time on Rhodes piano but a JC-120 sim would be even better. But it would mean getting the chorus right, which is HARD I think. The following user(s) said Thank You: Studiostriver |

Great amp, signature sound of one of my fav albums of all time: Sonic Temple by The Cult. It would be a nice add to the collection. The following user(s) said Thank You: Studiostriver |

Some free VSTi try to emulate (more or less faithfully) the sound of the Roland Juno‘s synths (Juno 60, Juno 106 & Juno 6). All these synths were and are still popular. The Juno 106 were used by Acrid Abeyance and can also be heard in countless techno trax.
Get ready for fat chorus ! here’s a selection of freeware plugin :
1. TAL U-NO-62
DL : http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-u-no-62

The best VSTi to get Juno60ish sounds, trust the chorus ! trust the chorus.
dont forget to check out the other plugins by TAL, the chorus is available as a separate VST effect !
Check the “power pad” preset : the sound is full.

2. Sixth Month June VST by Elektrostudio
SIXth MONTH JUNE VST Roland Juno VSTi
Roland Vst Mac
go ! => http://www.elektrostudio.ovh.org/index.php?go=june
Available for Windows (32 bit). A virtual recreation of the Roland Juno 6, there are some nice pads in the presets. + a simple and effective arpeggiator and a delay effect.
It’s great for pads, and can do some good bass too.
and if the chorus isn’t “fat” enough for you, there’s also a unison. When the unison is on, the synth turns to monophonic mode.
