Vst Plugin Tal-u-no-60

24.12.2020

Compares the HW Juno 60 with the Software 'emulation' with some default Factory A presets. The Juno 60 always plays first. This gives an idea how the emulation sounds. It should be possible to get better results with some more preset fine tuning.

I own and use a Juno-60 and I can confirm that this emulation is really-really close. I would be hard-pressed to tell them apart in a blind test.

  • The U-NO-60 vst plugin is a polyphonic virtual analogue synth with a unique filter sound. An original JUNO 60 is used as reference for the oscillators and filters. Like the original, the plugin is capable of self-resonance and thus could be used to some degree as a tone generator.
  • Togu Audio Line TAL-U-No-60 “Again, I’ve got a real Juno-60, but this is so quick to write with. If I really think the sound is lacking something, I can beef it up or replace it with the real one, but that doesn’t happen often.
  • This plugin is almost as fun as actually playing my Juno 60. The basses are super thick and the strings and pads lead to great areas of 80′s epicness! You’ll have tons of fun. The Juno 60′s big brother (though some still swear the 60 is warmer sounding). It’s just as fun as the 60 to mess with.

  • Roland Juno 60 plugin for cubase: Togu Audio Line presents the TAL U-NO-60: a polyphonic virtual analogue synth VST for windows (for Cubase, Ableton, etc.) with a unique filter sound, designed taking the original Roland Juno 60 as reference. The original Juno60 is a very rich sounding synthesizer and a great analog machine, but it completely.

If you would release this as a hardware synth (and somehow avoid Roland legalities), and sold this at under $1000, you would sell many.

Amazing that TAL-U-NO-LX is a much better Juno re-creation than Roland's own JU-06 Boutique.

I've owned a Juno for 20+ years and I think this does a great job of capturing the sound. Fantastic plugin.

Comment by dripfeed

Did you actually emulate the noise from the Juno chorus??

Comment by Made In Machines

Real dope, but seems the general resonant fequency of the emulation is slightly higher. incredible job still.
