Foobar2000 VST wrapper Foobar2000 is not a post-processing system or a studio recording environment, so there was no need too make it compatible with the VST interface. However, it would have been nice to exploit thousands of VST plugins, so wrappers have been made. This is the one I use (it can execute one VST at a time). Elephant looks really interesting! I want to use it and the Surface Dial to control VST plug ins in Foobar2000, which is not a DAW, but an audio player. I realize this is not quite the use case you are targeting. Foobar requires a so called VST wrapper to link the VST plug ins to Foobar's output. The most common type of DAW plug-in is the VST, and Appuals has covered several guides regarding DAWs and VST plug-ins. But what if I told you that these amazing VST plug-ins can actually be used in Foobar2000, one of the most popular audio players for PC? Regarding VST, there are 32bit and 64bit version.
